ABOUT LENA FELICE

Hi, I'm Lena — the owner and designer behind Lena Felice.

I started this business in 2012 from a small town called Wellington, England, with one simple idea: knitwear should be made properly, with care for both the person wearing it and the people making it.

Every piece begins with yarn from the best Italian spinners — Zegna Baruffa, Loro Piana, Casa del Filato, and others — processed under strict European standards. I made an early decision not to source from the usual fast-fashion textile markets, for reasons that come down to both quality and ethics.

I also work with some beautiful fluffy polyamide yarns alongside natural fibres — not despite being synthetic, but because of it. They don't shed the way some natural fuzzy yarns can, no animals are involved in making them, and they're wonderfully soft. Sometimes the more thoughtful choice isn't the obvious one.

Each garment is made to order, not mass-produced, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. That's slow fashion by design — no rails of stock waiting to go unsold, no waste built into the model. Every piece exists because someone chose it.

I'm the designer behind every piece, and still get hands-on with the making myself. As Lena Felice has grown, I've brought in a small team of skilled makers to help bring the designs to life for every order, always to the same standards I started with in 2012.
